It's been awhile since the last time I write here.
The reason being?
I AM ADDICTED TO PACKRAT.

It's a game on FaceBook. I been playing everyday, once I find out I don't have to have the same 5 cards to archive. I been playing it non-stop and I'm pretty good at it. Currently, I'm on level 80. Right now, I have no choice, but to take a break from the game. Facebook is doing alot of changes to the site, so sometimes I can't even log in. Then again, I pretty much finished with all the current collections. The 2 new collections, don't even have the cards completed yet. Oh well, I just have to be patient & wait.

I also have a new favorite yarn shop. It's Art Fibers. Couple us knitters went there last weekend. I fell in love with the place. It have alot choices, bright nice colors, and they have sample yarn that you can do swatches and you get to keep it. The most impressive thing is that they can personalize sweater pattern for you. If you want to do the sweater in the round, but the instructions are to knit in pieces, the lady there can plug the numbers in the computer and give you a sweater pattern in the round. The best thing, is that only cost $10. I'm so happy about it because at the same time, she will take your measurements, so the size will fit, just like a personal tailor. I brought a sweater pattern & the lady changed to knit in the round. I pick out this beautiful blue yarn, but they don't have enough for the sweater, so they going to order it for me. It will take 2 weeks. It's ok, I'm willing to wait for beautiful yarn. It gives me a reason to go back there for more yarn. I also got a cone of pink sock yarn, which I'm going to put to good use by making co-workers baby items.

Lots things happen, since last time. All nice things.

Dad left for Florida in end of June, mom stated.

Sunday 6/29/08 - It is the San Francisco Pride Parade. I took mom, it is her first time to the parade. We stay for the whole thing, which is 3 hours. The parade is special this year, because of allowing of same sex marriages. I believe it is great for everyone. There's alot of couples that show their marriage certificates, it's so sweet and there was couple throwing out wedding candy. Mom catches one.
Here is the picture of the candy.

Afterwards, both of us was hungry, so we went to China Town for lunch.

Tuesday - 7/1/08, It is the first Tuesday of the month, so the museums are free, so I thought. The Asian Art Museum changed their free day to the 1st Sunday of the month. That was a big surprise for me, but it's ok, we got to go to MOMA. There was alot of people there. I didn't enjoy the exhibit that much. I'm not very much into modern art. Mom enjoy alot. Then we head toward direction of home. We hit the Conservatory of Flowers & DeYoung. Saw the water lily exhibit which I didn't get to see last time because it was closed. The Dahlia was blooming.
Here is picture of mom.

We went up to the Observing tower in the DeYoung and saw the whole city. The we head home, but we pass by the Rose Garden and it was beautiful.
