PSYCHO IS DEAD.

I'm so happy, hahahahhahaha, yeah!!!!

He died during Sunday dinner, I wasn't even pay attention to him. One of my friends, say that my fish don't look so good and saw it was belly up in the water. That was a wonderful moment. I been wanting it died for a very long time. One of my friend pour him in the toilet & I flush him. I flushed couple of time just to make sure his not stuck in there.

It's a happy happy night for me.

Had a wonderful night of knitting on Tuesday night. The annoying woman didn't show up. It was a small group, on knitter left early, so there's was 3 of us knitting and it's fun.

It's Memorial Day this Monday, which means alot of people is off including me. It's been awhile since I had a 3 day weekend. It's wonderful.

I got the $600 from our congress earlier in the month, I can't buy alot stuff for this little amount of money, so I used it to make dinner for my friends, increase my yarn collection and chocolate stash.

Saturday - woke up and hear raining outside, so I just turn over on my bed and went back to sleep. After the rain stop, I got up and when to got groceries for my dinner on Sunday. It's kinda yucky day, so I stay indoors & knit my 19th pair of socks.

Sunday - It's the day for Movie & Dinner. I went to Safeway to get last minute chips. I got all the cutting & preparing done. Couple of my friends arrived a little bit after 2pm. We decided to watch Ratatouille. It's a movie about a rat who wants to be a chief in Paris. It's so cute. After the movie, I started to make dinner.
Here are what I made:
  • 2 Coconut Curry; one is Salmon & Squid, one is veggie
  • Chicken w/Zucchini
  • Garlic Eggplant
  • Pork w/celery & peppers
  • Chinese Chives w/egg.
  • Chicken w/coconut rum & Mrs. Dash

More of my friends arrived for dinner. It's a fun evening and I had everyone take the left overs home.

Note: The nose on the rats in Ratatouille look like very pink nipples.

Monday - a kinda of lazy day. I washed the dishes from Sunday night. As I was doing dishes, I remember I forgot to make one dish on Sunday dinner, oh well, I'll make it up to my friends next time. Did some laundry and ride out to get gas for my Red Sonya. As I was parking Red Sonya, I finally meet the woman who rides the Vino, that's always parked with Red Sonya. She's Latina and speak very little English. She ask me where can she buy a riding jacket. I informed her, to go to Cycle Gear in SOMA.

It's a fun weekend.

It's such an great day for me.

I got to go into OR (Operating Room) to see surgery while it's happening. I got to wear scrubs, hair net, and a mask. I was given direction as not to touch anything in the room and if I feel faint, just sit down and no one will laugh at me. With those instructions, I had mix feeling before hand. I most worried about like if I'm going to pass out for vomiting. Neither happened. As matter of fact, I enjoy the whole experience. I didn't even get a little bit of dizzy or nauseous.

I watch surgery of a woman who's having her febrile growth remove from her uterus. One of them was huge, and it has others grow around it too. It's like watch yeast under a microscope.
I want to go back in again. My director agree he'll take me back in whenever I want. I'm looking forward to it. There's other surgeries, I want to see a eyeball or a butt done. It will be so cool.

What a wonderful weekend.

Saturday - It's a nice sunny day, not hot as Thursday or Friday. It was warm enough for me to wear a sleeveless top. It's also Imagiknit's annual sale. Got there by 10: 30am (they open @11am) and wait for the store to open. I got 2 balls for malabrigo yarn and some yarn for socks. Afterwards, couple of us when to get burritos @Mission street. The I went to the San Francisco Chocolate Factory for my chocolate supply. I did pretty well. This my effort of busting the America economy with $600 from Bush. As I got home around 2:30pm and I saw the fog rolling in, so I give my Red Sonya a quick bath and when get some groceries. The rest of afternoon was napping. It's a sweet day.

Sunday - It's foggy weather. Susan's birthday party. It's also Bay to Breakers. The traffic was jammed by the event, it took Susan & Athena, 2 hours to get to the party. We got alot of drunks in the place, but it was still nice.

Today (Monday) - It's back to normal weather in the city, which is foggy.

Boy, it sure it's hot yesterday AND today.

So far, this is about the 4th hottest day here in San Francisco.

IT IS VERY VERY STRANGE. San Francisco don't get this hot. We are in northern California, NOT southern California.

It was a productive knitting session last night.

First and fort most, the ANNOYING WOMAN didn't show up. This means that nobody is waiting somewhere behind you for your left over fries.

A fellow knitter help me with my sweater. The Gather Pullover was finished, but the sleeves was too long. She show me how to shorten the sleeves. It's great, now the sleeves are just right. The night when on as usual, we did make plans for ImagiKnit. The store is having a sale this weekend. Couple of us will be there @11am when they open, so we can get the yarns we want. I'm so looking forward to Saturday.

It was a wonderful fun weekend.
Saturday:
Meet up with Karla, & ride down to Daly City on my Red Sonya.

We ride onto the Great Highway, then to Skyline Blvd., just like the last time. The smell on the Great Highway was interesting. I smell these in the following order: wood burning, weed or pot, animal poop. The last smell was near the San Francisco Zoo, they really need to clean those cages!!! As we got on Skyline Blvd. I got a wind of Eucalyptus trees, which I'm allergic to. I knew this will happen, so it's a good thing I drug myself in the morning. Our first stop was Outback Steakhouse, we got there just as they were opening, so we don't have to wait for seats, but we did wait almost an hour for our lunch. It's ok, we weren't in a hurry to go anywhere. Our second stop, is Daiso.
It's a Japanese dollar store. It's so much fun in there. I purchase alot things, this is my best purchase, a lunch box set for less than $8

You can see more of what I brought here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yanhonglu/sets/72157605026647791/

Next stop was Jamba Juice, I wish I had one near were I lived.

Then it's to Target. I got 2 DVDs.

Our last stop was JoAnn's. I got #3 double point needles & found yarn for my Citrus Yoke Sweater.

This is the yarn.

Then we got on Red Sonya to go home. It was cold!!!! We can see the fog rolling in on Daly City/Colma. As we got back onto the Great Highway, the smell was gone, but we saw a giant cruise ship. It's so big, it look like a island, but it's moving, so we knew it was not island. I did took a wrong turn, but it was fun. It turns out we end up in Golden Gate Park, it was a nice ride. We stop by Safeway before we when home. It was a surprise for both of us that the fog in Daly City was heavier than in the Inner Richmond are of the city. As we near the city, it got sunnier.

Sunday - - it was a lazy day. I got up around 9am, which is early for me on a weekend. I when to get gas for Red Sonya & got some groceries on Clement. Come back home, lay down back in bed again. Got up around 11am, did the morning thing, when out for breakfast/lunch. I went to get Thai. I came home, watch some TV, got hungry again around 2pm. I cook a meal, ate it. I did some lacy knitting, and took a nap. When I awake up, it was around 7pm. I made dinner, then I decide to sew in my sleeves for my sweater. I finished the sweater around 9pm or so. It's a little bit too big and the sleeves are couple inches too long, but I really like it.

It's Friday, I'm so tired.
I need to go to my Pilate class, but I'm just tired. I know, it's lazy of me, but I have a big day tomorrow.

Karla & I are going to Daiso again, yaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!
We'll be hitting the road on my Red Sonya. The plan sites are: Outback, Daiso, Joann's Fabric. Maybe even Target & Jumba Juice.

Looking forward to Saturday.

I had a wonderful day off on Tuesday.
Athena, Karla, & I hit The Conservatory of Flowers, when up to Observation Deck in the DeYoung, found a lake in Golden Gate Park, then we went to Legion of Honors.

I uploaded all the picture for the day trip here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/yanhonglu
It's Titled: May 6 2008 Trip.
Check it out

First, Athena & I meet for lunch, then we meet up with Karla and walked to Golden Gate Park. Our first stop is Conservatory of Flowers, they are having a butterfly exhibit. It was so pretty, we were bit disappoint that the water lily exhibit was closed due to power failure, but it's ok, there always next time. The butterflies was pretty & colorful.
Next, we went to DeYoung's Observation Deck. There was a map of the city, Karla & I try to find the building were we live on the map. Both of us find it. I took some pictures from the deck. It has a wonderful view, I can see the whole city of San Francisco. We came out of the museum, and I saw a giant safety pin and I have to have a picture of me in front it.
Then we want to go to Rose Garden, so we start walking. As we walk, Athena saw a set of steps, so we when up the steps to see where it goes. It was such surprise to find a lake. It was very pretty. We walk around the lake, saw so turtles bathing in the sun, they were cute.
We finally hit the rose garden, took some pictures. We then walk to Fulton street to catch #5 bus & #18 bus to the Legion of Honors. There were some glass sculptures there that was very beautiful. We went there to see the Annie Leibovitz photo exhibit. It only cost $5. The photographs was amazing. She's so good at capture people. I was disappointed that I can't take any pictures.
Finally, we when to a Thai dinner, then to knitting.

Had a wonderful time at knitting. A knitter come back after couple months of absence. A knitter show off her knitting bag by JoAnn Page. We all want the bag, it was glorious.
In the middle of all of this, THE ANNOYING WOMAN came, all of us ignored her. She ask Susan if she's hungry, because Susan didn't have any fries and none of us was eating. She saw there was no fries, so left about 5 minutes and she didn't try to pass out any nasty cupcake/cookies.
We keep on knitting, talking. I promise Mia that's I'll bring my Victorian Lace book next week, hope I don't forget. Karla & I talked about our day trip. I give my progress on my Gather Pullover Sweater. It's almost finish, I just have to sew it together. I also got advice to wash it with water & vinegar, so the red color won't come off.

It was a wonderful way to end a great fun day.

It was Cinco De Mayo last night.

I celebrated with my "drinking buddy" and other friend. We were enjoying ourselves in the Tiki Bar (Trader Sam's) when this horny couple sat next to us.

It was DISGUSTING!!! They may as well start having sex right in front of us.

They need to get a room, the woman was drunk and all over the "love of her life". While one friend complaint to the bartender, the drunk woman got into a verbal argument with my friend. Then the bartender came over, so they got up and when to other side of the bar, continue stick their tongues down each other's throat.

It was annoying, if the bartender didn't come over, I would of taking that woman outside and punch her!!!

Then there some other woman who's been there since the bar opens start to dance with other. Shaking their butts, which they don't have any, then got all work up that some guys was watch them, so they SCREAM on top of their lungs "WE ARE STRAIGHT" over and over again.
SURE, we get it. Just shut up, and go back to drinking.

After awhile we left. It was a fun evening.
I have today off. It's been awhile since I took time off from work. It's only for one day, but it still feel so good not to have get up 6am.

It's 1st Tuesday of May, so most of the museum in San Francisco are free. Couple of my friends are going for the trip. One friend is joining me for lunch, then after that 2 more of my friends are joining us. We are hitting the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. It's showing a butterfly exhibit. I saw it last year, but it was at the end, so most of the butterfly was dead. I'm hoping to see more this time, since it just started. We are hitting one more or maybe two more museum afterward, but don't know which ones. We will just take a vote.

It's also knitting night.

Monday, May 05, 2008

What a relax weekend. I didn't do much at all and it's enjoyable. Did do laundry

I did make alot progress on my sweater. I finished the 2nd sleeve. The knitting part of the sweater is pretty much finished. Now is the putting together part which involves sewing, which I'm not very good at.

I did went out with a friend on Saturday night. My "drinking buddy", she fill me in on the details of her pass weekend visit with her friend from Vegas. According to her details, the guy is pretty creative.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday, it's not just because it's my knitting night. I'm taking the day off. Yes, an whole day off from work since I don't know when. It is also 1st Tuesday of May, and that means allot of museums in San Francisco are free. I will not be along on this trip, there are at least two of my friends join me for the day. We are hitting the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, they are having an butterfly exhibit going on until October. I'm taking my camera. Then the DeYoung, Legion of Honor, Asian Art Museum are on the list, but I'm not sure we will hit all of these, it will depend on the vote of my friends. It will be a fun day. I'm so looking forward to it.
