It's Titled: May 6 2008 Trip.
Check it out
First, Athena & I meet for lunch, then we meet up with Karla and walked to Golden Gate Park. Our first stop is Conservatory of Flowers, they are having a butterfly exhibit. It was so pretty, we were bit disappoint that the water lily exhibit was closed due to power failure, but it's ok, there always next time. The butterflies was pretty & colorful.
Next, we went to DeYoung's Observation Deck. There was a map of the city, Karla & I try to find the building were we live on the map. Both of us find it. I took some pictures from the deck. It has a wonderful view, I can see the whole city of San Francisco. We came out of the museum, and I saw a giant safety pin and I have to have a picture of me in front it.
Then we want to go to Rose Garden, so we start walking. As we walk, Athena saw a set of steps, so we when up the steps to see where it goes. It was such surprise to find a lake. It was very pretty. We walk around the lake, saw so turtles bathing in the sun, they were cute.
We finally hit the rose garden, took some pictures. We then walk to Fulton street to catch #5 bus & #18 bus to the Legion of Honors. There were some glass sculptures there that was very beautiful. We went there to see the Annie Leibovitz photo exhibit. It only cost $5. The photographs was amazing. She's so good at capture people. I was disappointed that I can't take any pictures.
Finally, we when to a Thai dinner, then to knitting.
Had a wonderful time at knitting. A knitter come back after couple months of absence. A knitter show off her knitting bag by JoAnn Page. We all want the bag, it was glorious.
In the middle of all of this, THE ANNOYING WOMAN came, all of us ignored her. She ask Susan if she's hungry, because Susan didn't have any fries and none of us was eating. She saw there was no fries, so left about 5 minutes and she didn't try to pass out any nasty cupcake/cookies.
We keep on knitting, talking. I promise Mia that's I'll bring my Victorian Lace book next week, hope I don't forget. Karla & I talked about our day trip. I give my progress on my Gather Pullover Sweater. It's almost finish, I just have to sew it together. I also got advice to wash it with water & vinegar, so the red color won't come off.
It was a wonderful way to end a great fun day.
