Tuesday was a easy day for me at work. Boss was at an all day meeting away from the building, so I finished my work and started knitting. I make allot of progress on my sock, then cast on and knit the toes for 2nd of the pair. I was looking forward to my knitting night all day.
It was a good knitting last night, after about 30 minutes.
The annoying woman did show up again, but didn't stay long. We were all eating at the time, so she didn't push her knitting needles in our faces to ask us how to teach her to knit again. The first thing she said was "Karla here?". It's just bad, Karla teach her knit 2 weeks in a row, but she can't remember what she look like, and keep asking one of the girl "are you Karla?". "NO, Karla is not coming tonight, because she has to work". One of our knitter share her fries with her, it was nice of her. After the annoying woman ate the fries, she give the knitter an open box of Wheat Thins. She did ask if we want cupcake first, but we say "no". One of our knitter tell her about knitting class on the 3rd Saturdays at the main library in downtown and it's free. Hopefully she'll go there. She just need more attention than any of us can give her. She's NEEDY!!! After she give away the Wheat Thins, she left. Then we throw away the Wheat Thins. The box is all crushed up, the bag was open, it just look so horrible.
Then we got on with our knitting and chit chatting. I get to show off the progress of my socks. I got advice on how to read the chart for the cabling for my sweater. I even show off my yarn for my next project, it's another sweater, but it's all cables. It seems this week, most of us are working on sweaters. Two of our knitters was working on different sweaters, but using the same yarn. I can't wait to see both of the finished projects. We didn't have a big show up last night, but it's fun. The new knitter we meet last week came back this week and she's making a hat. One of the girl have to leave early, because she didn't feel good. All in all, it was a good night.
