It's been a month since my last entry. Why, so long?
I AM STILL ADDICTED TO PACKRAT!!!!!
The game on facebook, it's so much fun. I finished most of the current collections, the new collections I'm waiting for the cards to come out. In the mean time, I'm "Grinding" to get my level up & collecting credits, which I have over 8,500 and counting.
Something new: I HAVE GALLSTONE!!!
This means surgery, ouch!!! At least now I know the cause of all my stomach problems for the past 10 years.
I been having stomach pains since I was a kid. It have gotten bad in high school & college, I figure it was stress. It gotten worst as I move to and live in the bay area, I thought it's just stress of being here alone. Who would of thought I have gallstones!!! I had no idea, it never cross my mind.
Here is how it happened:
Monday - 8/18 around 9am, I feel pain in my stomach, try to vomit, but nothing come out. The pain just keep getting worst. I can't get up from the pain, so I craw out of the bathroom, called for help. I must scared the SHIT out of my office mate (a boy). He went and got 2 OB/GYN nurse (we worked in labor & delivery floor). Both of ladies are very nice, but they keep asking me if I was pregnant. They must thought since I was a woman & in pain, I must having a miscarriage or something related.
WRONG!!!
At this point, the pain have going on for about at least 20 minutes, I was cold, pale, shaking & sweating. Yes, all these can happen at the same time. They got a wheelchair & wheel me to the ER, which is a floor down from where I worked. I'm so glad I worked at a hospital at this time.
Again, in the ER, they ask me if I was PREGNANT.
NO!!!
They just won't take my answer for it, so I have to pee in a cup for them to run the test.
It came back NEGATIVE for pregnancy.
DUH!!!
My pain have lessen down to almost gone at this point, but they want to keep there to check everything. They put me in a room, hook me up to IV, took my blood, order ultrasounds.
I never been a patient at the ER before, so here a some of my major firsts:
First time ever getting an IV
First time getting morphine - boy that was some shit!
First time getting an ultrasound
Like I said before, I worked in a hospital, so I knew alot of people, including the ER nurse, the ultrasound tech. who did my test, etc. It's a good thing, everyone was super nice to me.
The result: 2cm gallstone. Have to have surgery.
What a little piece of SHIT. Causing all this pain.
